Jeffery E. Pizzino
CHANDLER, Ariz. - Jan. 3, 2005 - Isagenix International has appointed Jeffery E. Pizzino as its new Director of Communications, a position he assumed Jan. 3. As such, he will be responsible for most of the company's communications, including the company's newsletter, magazine, Web site content, and many of the sales tools. Because of his extensive public relations background, he also plans to explore ways to secure additional news media coverage for Isagenix, specifically TV news segments, newspaper stories and magazine articles.
Pizzino's career in PR and marketing communications spans nearly 20 years. He's worked for a top-10 PR agency in New York City, a Fortune 100 company, and several start-up companies. He even owned his own consulting business for nearly 13 years, during which time he worked on several projects for Network Marketing companies.
"Jeff's talent for helping companies better communicate their message to build upon their branding, along with his relentless creativity and drive for perfectionism, will be an incredible asset to our staff and our Associates," said Rick Despain, VP of Marketing.
Pizzino most recently worked as the public relations manager for Penta water in Carlsbad, Calif. While there, he successfully placed Penta water on Fox News, CNN, "The Ellen Degeneres Show," NBC's top-rated weight loss reality show "The Biggest Loser," and in such highly read publications as USA Today, Glamour magazine and In-Style magazine. He also negotiated endorsement deals with more than 100 high-profile athletes, celebrities, and health and fitness experts, including musician Sting, three-time Olympic gold medalist swimmer Amanda Beard, and dozens of NFL and Major League Baseball players.
"We're going to find ways to improve upon the success Isagenix has already achieved," said Pizzino. "Our goal is to take the company to the next level and give the Isagenix Associates more powerful communications tools, thus making it easier for them to spread the incredible Isagenix message."
Pizzino was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wis. He and his wife Leticia have four children. Pizzino has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Brigham Young University.
